Our Approach
At Cold Solutions Kenya, we are committed to environmental responsibility and sustainable business practices. We intend to achieve this through the implementation of a robust Environmental Management System Framework which ensures that we reduce our carbon footprint, conserve resources and ensures that we promote eco-friendly practices across our supply chain.
Our ESG Pillars
At the very foundations of our ESG pillars lie energy efficiency, renewable energy, prevention of food loss and waste, health and safety, diversity and inclusion, employee wellness, community engagement, ethical conduct, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and board diversity and independence. Our ESG department is responsible for driving sustainability, ethical conduct, and value creation within the company.
Our Certifications
We are working towards holding several certifications and adhere to strict environmental regulations to ensure that our operations meet the highest standard of sustainability. We are Yum! approved and working towards achieving the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), a sustainable business practice certification and FSSC 22000 Version 5.1 certification.
